Born October 21, 1943 in Spartanburg, son of the late Sidney Leroy and Ora Louise Pace Belue; husband of Ellavee Swanson Belue.
Retired owner/operator of Spartanburg Wedding Center for 26 years; a member of First Baptist Church, Spartanburg; an avid photographer; and multi-talented and hardworking.
Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia Annette Blackwell (Jason) of Spartanburg; a son, Carl David Belue Jr. (Angela) of Spartanburg; seven sisters, Marguerite B. Carey, Maggie B. Brannon, Peggy B. Fowler, Betty B. Smith, Dorothy B. Scruggs, Doris B. Peterson, and Barbara Belue; three brothers, Paul, John and Bobby Ray Belue; eight grandchildren, Carl David Belue III, Melissa Rozier, Aerial and Lyndon Logan, Tosha and Shannon Whittle, Brook and Taylor Blackwell; and a great-grandson, C. J. Rozier.
Predeceased by one sister and three brothers.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 1, 2009 at Bobo Funeral Chapel, with the Reverends Sal Barone and Bill Adams officiating.
The family received friends following the memorial service at the home.
