Elmer E. Alandar, Jr. age 84 years, of Marysville, passed away at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa. He was born in Marysivlle, the son of Elmer E. Alandar, Sr. and Anna R. (Radabaugh) Alandar.
He was a retired car inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad; was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II; a member of the Marysville Church of God, where he was a member of the Senior Life; Perry Lodge #458, F&AM, Marysville, Consistory; and Marysville Golden Agers.
He was the widower of Addie Jane (Hammaker) Alandar.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue C. Harris; a grandson, David L. Harris, both of Duncannon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lester J. Alandar and Willis W. Alandar; and a sister Dorothy Kurtz.
Services were held in the Marysville Church of God, with Pastor Larry L. Hale officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Plainfield/Carlisle, Pa.
