Deceased Name: Lester Alandar,56 president of company
MARYSVILLE Lester "Dick" Alandar, 56, of Marysville died yesterday at home.
He was president of Alandar Bros. Excavating and Paving; an Army veteran; a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Perry F&AM Lodge 458, the Scottish Rite Consistory and Zembo Temple, both in Harrisburg, and Cumberland County Shrine Club; and was past president of the Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Marcia Graham Alandar; two daughters, Ann and Julia, both at home; two brothers, Elmer of Marysville, and Willis "Syd" of Enola; and several nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at his church. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Deckard Funeral Home, where Masonic services will be held at 8:45.
