The daughter of the lateSam and Mae Ferrell Anderson, Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, the late Palmer Lewis, who died three years ago. She is survived by two sons, including Leo Lewis and Tommy Lewis, both of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Ruth McNelley, Ann Werner and Hazel Feathers, all of Murfreesboro; four brothers, Roy Anderson and Johnny Anderson of Murfreesboro and L.D. Anderson and Andy Anderson, both of Manchester; two sisters, Pauline Floyd of Wartrace and Eula Mae Floyd of Shelbyville; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A native of Coffee County, Mrs. Lewis was a resident of Rutherford County since early childhood. She was a homemaker and member of Bellwood Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
