Eva was born on Aug. 7, 1944, in Holcombe, to Margaret and Edward Birch, of Holcombe. She came to Rusk County in October 1989. She married her husband Richard Wojciuch in Rusk County on July 13, 1992. She was a foster parent for 10 years. She also worked in metal recycling for 10 years.
Eva is survived by her son Louis R. (Gwendolyn) Hoople II of Cornell; her grandchildren Cody (Cassie) Daigle and Louis R. Hoople III; her great-grandchildren Clarisha and Carter Daigle; her brothers Dave Birch of El Mirage, Ariz., Eddie Birch of Glendale, Ariz., Steve Birch of Bruce and Dode Birch of Conrath; her sisters Lora Pfankuch of San Bruno, Calif., and Dolly Trankley of Milwaukee; and her special friend Dorothy Zeka.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; her parents; and her brothers August Birch, Richard Birch and Waldemar Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, at Holcombe Methodist Church, with Rev. Paul Gregersen officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in Holcombe Methodist Cemetery.
