Mrs. Riley, daughter of Charles and Opal (Bishop) Abernathy, was born March 3, 1947, in Sikeston, Missouri. She had been a cook in the Doniphan R-1 School District and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Ms. Bonnie enjoyed watching detective shows on television and she especially liked having company to visit with.
On May 16, 1964, she was married to James Riley at East Prairie, Missouri, and he died in July of 2000.
Mrs. Riley was also preceded in death by her parents and one child, C. D. Riley.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, a sister, a brother, a brother-in-law and his wife, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren,.
Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery in East Prairie, Missouri.
