Dixie Turner, age 83 ,of Woodson, Texas died Thursday, April 24, 1998 in a local care center. Services were Saturday, April 25, 1998 at 2 p.m.in the First Baptist Church in Woodson, Texas with Rev. Jimmy Stiles, pastor officiating. Burial was in Woodson Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home of Graham, Texas. Mrs. Turner was born March 29, 1915 in Padgett, Texas to the late JIM and SARAH FRANCES ROUSWELL ABBOTT. She married ALVIN A. TURNER June 26, 1975 in Woodson, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1998.She was a lifetime resident of the Woodson community and a member of the First Baptist Church in Woodson. Survivors include brother-in-law, ALTON "BUSTER" TURNER of Throckmorton and numerous nieces and nephews.
