Marcia Imogene Jones Lasiter, faithful wife, loving mother, dedicated follower of Christ, passed from this life into the waiting arms of her Savior on April 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Burl Lasiter. She is survived by their children, Jimmy and Marcia Horn, Charles and Glynda Morgan, Frank and Janyll Lasiter; her grandchildren, Clay and Lisa Gravatt; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed flowers and loved to sing in her church choir. She dedicated her life to caring for children, and found great joy and comfort spending her later years with her great-granddaughters. She served as the Primary Class Sunday School teacher at First Free Will Baptist Church of Memphis for more than 20 years. She is currently a member of Frayser Baptist Church, but most recently attended Leawood Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Heritage Choir. The family will receive friends Monday, April 8, 2019, from 12:00-1:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Both visitation and funeral will be held at Leawood Baptist Church on Macon Rd.
