Nellie Irene Courson Neupert, 87, died January 19, 1999, in a local hospital.

Born in Knox, Pa., she was the widow of Chester J. Neupert and a member of Bethel Baptist Temple in Chesapeake.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna M. McLaughlin of St. Augustine, Fla., Ruth O'Brian of Leesburg, Fla., and Sandra Hilderbrand of Virginia Beach; a son, Ronald E. Neupert of Chesapeake; six sisters; two brothers; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Henry Johnson. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
