Mrs. Samuel A. Moore died Friday morning at her home in Franklin after a brief illness. Mr. and Mrs. Moore formerly lived on North Main street, Meadville. She was a sister of the famous John Steele ("Coal Oil Johnny.") With the husband are left two children, Mrs. C. B. Ackley, of Oil City and Mrs. C. M. MacConnell, an instructor in Allegheny college.
The funeral services were held at 2 o'clock p. m., Sunday. Interment in the Franklin (sic) cemetery.
