Chester Byarley, Rt. 1. South Bend, died early Monday in his residence after an illness of several years. He was born Aug. 26, 1897, in Log Mountain, Ky., and came to South Bend 10 years ago from Jacksonville, Ind.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fred Kaylor, Mrs. Gloria Rider and Mrs. Mathew Caruth, all of South Bend; a son, Jack Byarley, four sisters, Mrs. Emma Swartzell, Mrs. Gilbert McCammon and Mrs. S.P. Holland, all of South Bend; and Mrs. John Turner, Greentown, Ind.; and two brothers, Henderson, Jasonville, and Logan Barley, Detroit, Mich.
