"Betty" Mary Elizabeth Byarley-Kaylor, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 5, in her residence following an extended illness.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1926, in Jassonville, Ind., to Chester and Frances (Grontkowski) Byarley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Kaylor.

Mrs. Kaylor worked and retired from Sobenite, Inc. She was a shop steward of Union #155 of the United Furniture Workers of America.

Survivors inclue her sons, James Carson (Sharon Sue) Kaylor of South Bend and Daniel Murray (Jill Elizabeth) Kaylor of South Bend; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy (Lonnie) Lindenberg of Mishaswaka.
