Doc Milner Expires
John E. (Doc) Milner, 86, of rural Johnsonville, died of an apparent heart attack Wednesday evening at his home.
A retired farmer, he had been under a doctor's care.
Rites Friday
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday from DeSelms Funeral Home, with Rev. Delbert Goff officiating. Interment will be in Bailey cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home afater 6 p.m. Thursday (today).
He was born in Wayne County, the son of John and Catherine Spicer Milner.
On Mar. 26, 1911, he was married to Ella Harrell.
He was a member of the Oak Grove church near Johnsonville.
The Survivors
Surviving are his widow; one son, Johnny, of Johnsonville; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a foster daughter, Mrs. Jack Cook, of North Jetson, Ind.
