Halleck Milner Dies At Age 87
Former Johnsonville Resident Lived At Flora; Funeral Thursday (Today).
Halleck Milner, 87, of Flora, a former Johnsonville resident, died Tuesday morning at the Flora Hospital, where he had been hospitalized 15 days, from cancer.
Funeral services were conducted from the Flora RLDS church Thursday afternon [sic] (today), with Elder Harry Renson officiating, assisted by Elder Otton Henson. Interment was in Cisne Cemetery. DeSelms Funeral Home was in charge.
Retired Minister
Mr. Milner was a retired carpenter and minister of the RLDS church.
He was born in Wayne county March 17, 1876, the son of John and Catherine Spicer Milner.
His wife, Mary, died in 1957.
The Survivors
Surviving are one son, Roy, of Aurora; two daughters, . . . ; two brothers, John and Harvey Milner, both of near Johnsonville, one sister, Mrs. Effie Ellis, fo Flora; and six grandchildren.
