Mrs. John Butterbaugh Called By Death
Myra, one of a family of seven children was born to Hiram and Catherine Seamons, was born at Hawkeye, Fayette County, Ia., December 7th, 1890, and passed from this life March 22nd, 1942, in Tipton, Iowa, at the age of 51 years, 3 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to John Butterbaugh at Tipton, Iowa, Dec. 20th, 1917. There were born to this union 2 children who together with her husband have preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary of Tipton.
She leaves to mourn her loss one sister Lottie Barnhart of Wilton, Iowa, and three brothers, C. C. Seamons of Lake Charles, Louisiana; R. E. and C. R. Seamons, of Muscatine, Iowa. Also 17 nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held under the auspices of the Tipton Auxiliary at the McCormick funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon, March 25th at 2 P.M., Rev. Newgard of Wilton, Iowa in charge of the service. Interment in the Hebron cemetery.
