She was born Sept. 3, 1888 in Fayette county the daughter of Hiram and Kathrine Siglin Seamans. She had been a resident of Wilton for 50 years and a former resident of Clinton.
She married Urban Barnhart on May 24, 1909 in Clinton. Mrs. Barnhart was a member of the United Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John (Viena) DeBord, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Jack (Lola) Willis of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Raymond (Lela) Sambdman of Davenport; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, two daughters, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at the Griffith funeral home in Wilton with Rev. Homer Perry officiating.
Interment will be at Oakdale cemetery. Friends may call at the Griffith funeral home after 7:30 p.m. today.
