Cottage Grove, Oregon, May 22.-----Jane Force was born in Steuben Co., N.Y., August 15, 1836, moved to Indiana when a child, was married to Joseph(sic) G. Robbins, October 19, 1851, and lived there until after the war. Then they moved to Minnesota, where they lived until 1911, when they came to Cottage Grove. Twelve children were born to them, 10 of whom are living, 5 in the East and 5 in the West. Those in the West are Mrs. S.E. McCall of Tacoma, Washington; Mrs. E.A. McCall, Mrs. Mary Fix of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. F.A. Whipps and C.G. Robbins of Cottage Grove. Mrs. Robbins was a member of the Baptist Church all her life, Mr. Robbins died March 4 last. Mrs. Robbins died Monday at 1 p.m. from paralysis.
