Death of Nelson K. Force
Nelson K. Force, one of the old timers of the Flathead valley, died at his home in the Duncan addition this morning at 8 o'clock. He had been in poor health for several weeks and his death was the result of a complication of diseases.
Deceased came to Montana in 1890 and located in the Flathead valley and had resided here continuously since that time.
He was a veteran of the civil war, having served four years in Company C, 37th Indiana infantry. Mr. Force was a member of the Nat Lyon's Post, G.A.R. under whose auspices the funeral will take place.
He leaves a wife and three children. The oldest son, Alfred, who is a member of Company H, is at present in Great Falls, but is expected home tomorrow. Deceased was a native of Indiana and was 56 years of age at his death.
