She died at her home in the Proffitt Community.
She was the first white child born in Graham and lived her entire life in Young County except nine years in which she lived in Knox County, Texas. She lived at Graham, Proffitt and Fort Belknap during her lifetime.
Survived by two sons - Roscoe and V.P. Jordan; two daughters - Mrs. Louella Edwards and Mrs. Mildred Whatley; two brothers, Preston Brooks and Louis Brooks; three sisters, Ethel Hulse, Retta Puckett and Bessie Brown.
