She was an employee of the former Formfit Rogers Company in Lafayette, with 40 years of service, and a member of the Willette Church of Christ.
She was a daughter of the late Bud and Vera (Donoho) Hudson and the wife of Kirk Allen Russell, who died April 28, 1981.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Jack Jenkins, San Antonio, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Comer and Shirley Russell, Lebanon, Tenn., and Tony and Lisa Russell, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Anna and Alvin Burgess, Elizabethtown, and Ruby McCue, Louisville; three brothers and seven sisters-in-law — Lovell and Jean Hudson, Curtis and Jean Hudson, and Nell Hudson, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; Ralph and Glenna Hudson, Lafayette; Vetrice Hudson, Greenwood, Ind.; Nola Mae Hudson, Lafayette; and Mary Hudson, Red Boiling Springs; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Brenda Sheppard; five brothers, Doyle, John, Roy, Billy Dowell and Robert Hudson; a brother-in-law, Buddy McCue; and a sister-in-law, Hilda Mai Hudson, all preceded her in death.
Burial was at the Thomas Cemetery in the Willette community.
Serving as pallbearers were Todd and Lee Dickens, Doug and John Jenkins, Trent, Devin and Brantley Russell.
