Betty Rae Duncan, Allen passed away November 26, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born on October 24, 1928 in Rigby, ID to Chester Harold Duncan and Elise Jane Winterbottom.

She was the only girl in her family of eight children. At age 6 months the family moved to Salt Lake City and she attended school there. In 1945 the family moved to Arimo, Idaho where she met the love of her life, Kenneth M. Allen. They were married on April 10, 1946 in Pocatello Idaho. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple in March 1955. Ken and Betty lived in Hawkins Basin and Pocatello where they had six daughters. Betty worked and retired from Farmers Insurance Co. in Pocatello.

After retiring they resided in the cabin in Island Park and spent winters in in Yuma Arizona. They served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake City and Island Park. Betty served in many other capacities in the church.

Betty is survived by her six daughters, Linda (Del) Mecham of San Tan Valley, Az., Gayle (Shane) Boden of Idaho Falls, Id., Debra (Shane) McKinley, Mesa, Az., Jody (Brad) Oller, Mesa, Az., Sheila (Roger) Adams, Pocatello, Id., and a brother, Gary Duncan, Idaho Falls, Id. Betty has 20 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, six brothers, two sons in laws, and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday December 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Highland 3rd ward Chapel at Butte and Hiskey. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel 510 N. 12th Ave. Pocatello Id. and on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the church. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens
