Obituary: Mrs. Wilson Foner: funeral services were held from the Glenwood Lutheran church on Monday, August 23, at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Wilson Foner who passed away suddenly at her home August 19. She was laid to rest in the Glenwood cemetery. The pallbearers, all six of whom were nephews, were Freddie and Loris Weispfennig, Vernon and Jimmie Jacobs, Marvin and Donald Jacobs. Hilda Bertha Jacobs was born on May 11, 1897 in Leven Township and was past 57 years of age at the time of her death. The cause of her death was a cerebral hemorrhage. Her entire life was lived in Leven Township. Her parents were Herman and Ida Jacobs. On November 21, 1926, she was united in marriage to Wilson Foner at Glenwood. Five children were born to their union namely: Orville in service at Camp Drum, New York, Chauncey, Deloris, Virginia and Karen at home. Besides her husband and children she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Anna Sievert, Osceola, Wis. : Mrs. Art Demling (Ida) Osceola, Wis., Mrs. Minnie Gamradt, Sauk Centre; Mrs. Albin (Alma) Weispfennig, Glenwood: Herbert, Sauk Centre and Edwin at Glenwood and a host of other relatives. Hilda Foner was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church of Villard and has been a member of the Glenwood Lutheran church since her marriage. A kind and loving mother, her sudden death leaves a great vacancy in the home and among her many friends
