Ernest William Davis, 48, of 136 East Pike Street, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 29, 1908, at 11:20 p.m. in Canonsburg General Hospital, about three hours after being admitted.
He was born October 27, 1919 in Canonsburg, a son of Ernest C. and Carrie Wilson Davis. He was employed by the South Hills Nursery as a landscaper for five years. He served in the Army in the Eastern Theater for four years during World War II.
Mr. Davis was a member o: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2026.
Surviving are one brother, Robert E., of Canonsburg, and one sister, Helen, wife of George H. Landock, of Meadow Lands. A brother, Harold P., died in 1967.
