Port Haywood - Samuel Edward Dow, 82, a retired dairy foreman, died Monday, Sept. 26, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Denville V. Marks at Port Haywood.
A native of Mathews County, he made his home in California for more than 40 years before returning to the county.
He served in the Merchant Marines from 1940 - 45.
The body has been cremated.
Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, is in charge.
