2018 Oct 13 - Grawn - Sally Jane Hankins was born Saturday 2 Dec 1950 in Benzonia to Ernest Cleveland & Marion Jane (Greene) Hankins. She married Thomas in 1970 in Traverse City, they had 2 daughters. After their divorce she married Gary. After her second divorce she married Donald Monday 14 Feb 1994. She owned and operated Silk Greenery Florist in Traverse City and later partnered with Don in owning D&S Painting, Inc of Gaylord and Round Tuit of Traverse City. She was very artistic she enjoyed painting as well as doing arts and crafts. She enjoyed decorating her home for all seasons. She enjoyed life with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved her family and they loved her.

Sally Jane (Hankins) Findley, of Grawn, died peacefully Saturday 13 Oct 2018 at the age of 67 y 10 m 11 d at her home in Grawn. Survivors included her husband; 2 daughters; 2 step-daughters; and many grandchildren; and 7 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Tracy Leann (Anys) Lang 12 Jul 2018; her parents, Ernest 18 Feb 1985 & Marion 25 Jan 2011; 2 sisters, Donna Jean Porter 6 May 2006, and Shirley Ann Yager Behrns 15 Mar 2005; 2 brothers, Ernest Junior Hankins 30 Nov 1995, and Robert Walter Hankins 18 Jul 1979.

Visitation was 5-8 pm Thursday 18 Oct 2018 and 10-11 am Friday 19 Oct 2018 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home at 305 Sixth St in Traverse City. Funeral services were 11 am Friday 19 Oct 2018 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with Pastor Mark McCool officiating.

Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Grawn.
