Born in Tompkinsville on Jan. 17,1909, she was a daughter of the late Elmore and Cordelia (Spears) Bartley and the wife of the late Charles E. Lyon.
Survivors include a daughter, Leah Ann Williamson, Easton, Md.; a son, Gene Lyon, Bluff City, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Stephanie Sewell, Leslie Ann Burke and Toby Williamson; two great-grandchildren, Alli Sewell and Aaron Burke; and several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers, Jack, Hermon, Denton, Cleo and Roosevelt Bartley, and four sisters, Belle McMillin, Bertha Martin, Buna McMurtry and Bina Chapman, all preceded her in death
