Mrs. Grace B. Bellis, 61, 4100 South Kentucky, died late Friday afternoon at her home.
Born Dec. 14, 1901, at Atchison, Kan., she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Martha Stearns Martin. She was married at Atchison, Kan. in April 1924, to Oliver D. Bellis, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Dorothy) Pachuta, Groton, Conn.; Mrs. Dawson (Darlene) Swearngin, Conogo Park, Calif.; two sons, Robert Bellis, Grenada Hills, Calif.; William Bellis, Aurora, Colo.; a brother, Clif Martin, Atchison, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Hatchell, Atchison, Kan.; and seven grandchildren. Two brothers preceeded her in death.
Mrs. Bellis was a member of East Sealia Baptist Church, the War Dads Auxillary and the Striped College Club.
The body will e in state at the Gillespie Funeral Home untill Monday when it will be taken to Short Creek Baptist Church where funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Short Creed Baptist Church with the Rev. Richey officiating.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will be at Sugar Creek, Mo.
