ARCHER L. MARTIN DIES
Archer L. ( Archie) Martin, 44, painter and paperhanger, died late yesterday afternoon at his home, 717 R street, with bronchial pneumonia. He had been ill for the past two years with asthma, but his condition was not critical until Sunday when pneumonia developed.
Archer Leon Martin was born October 12, 1886, in Atchinson and spent his entire life here. He had been employed prior to two years ago, when his health failed, by W. O. Harlan.
He is survived by one daughter, Annetta Martin, 8; his parents Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Martin, Atchison; two brothers, Arthur B. and Clifton Martin, both of Atchinson; and two sisters, Mrs. _rnce Bellis; Sedalia, Mo., and Mrs. Alice Hatohell, Atchinson.
The body will be removed from the Sawin & Douglass parlors to the Martin residence, 717 R street, late this afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow ( Friday) afternoon from the residence with burial in Mr. Vernon cemetery. The Rev. W.E. Wheeler will officiate.
