Arthur Martin Dies Suddenly -

A heart attack caused the unexpected death of Arthur Martin well known and popular paper hanger and painter, at his home on ----eneth Fifth. Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.

Popularly known as "Art" Martin he was born in Atchison and lived here all his life.

Mr. Martin married Miss Ann Kearney of Atchison June 2, 1919 and she survives him with a daughter, Miss Doris Martin, who is a member of the WAVES and is in present stationed in Oklahoma. Two sons preceded him in death. Other survivors are a brother J. C. "Cliff" Martin of Atchison; and two sisters, Mrs. O.D Bellis of Sedalia, Mo., and Mrs. A Hatchell of Atchison.

The body is at the Sawin & Douglas funeral chapel and will remain there until the hour of the funeral, which will be held at St. Benedict's Church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. The rosary will be recited at the Sawin & Douglas chapel Friday evening at 8:30.
