Services for Calvin Blake, 71, of 1119 W. 4th St., Davenport, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Blake died Monday at Mercy Hospital. He had been employed at Oscar Mayer Co., retiring in 1968. Mr. Blake was born in Cranston, Iowa. He married Violet Ravenscraft in 1943 in Kahoka, Mo. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Nancy Blaybock, Wayland, Mo., and Mrs. Barbara Gallagher, Russellville, Ark.; sons, George and Richard, both of Burlington, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Celda Lebleane, Millville, Calif.; Mrs. Ione Brown, Mrs. Helen Haller, Mrs. Dorothy Haller, Mrs. Sylvia Alf, and Mrs. Wilma Hauser, all of Muscatine, Iowa, and brothers, Clifford and Jesse, both of Muscatine.
