Lena Mae Marsh, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at the age of 80 at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO. She was the daughter of William Henry and Grace Caddie (Stargel) Wakefield. She married Loren Colton in Cincinnati, Iowa in 1943. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Caddie; brother, Erse l Raymond Wakefield in 1943; sister, Grace Irene Walker in and brother, Harold William Wakefield in 197 ; and sister, Marie Ellen in 1992. She is survived by her two sons, Clifton and Jerry Colton , both of Denver, CO; four brothers, Woodrow and Harry of Davenport, IA , Bobby and Everette of Centerville. IA ; four sisters, Alice Stewart of Longview, WA, Anna Clark of Moline, IL, Sarah Hansen of Taylor Ridge, IL and Ruth,Benz of Numa, IA; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She had worked as a private duty nurse in Palmyra and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hannibal. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. God Bless!!
