Mrs Lovie Jane Phillips of Stockbridge passed away January 7, 1983. Surviving are daughters, Mrs Leanna Reagan, Stockbridge, Mrs Lillian White, Myrtle Beach, SC, Mrs Mabel McAteer, Mableton, Mrs Ada Love, Stockbridge, Mrs Florence Love, Stockbridge, sons, Mr Bill Phillips, Macon, Mr Tip Phillips, Stockbridge, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 at the First Baptist Church of Stockbridge with remains placed in state at 1:30. Rev Ralph Wade, Rev Edgar Welch officiating. Interment Stockbridge City Cemetery. Selected pallbearers will assemble at the church at 2:15. D T Carmichael & Son.
