Dean J. Billock, 77, of Upper Sandusky died at 2:40pm Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Inn of Westbrook in Upper Sandusky.

He was born October 22, 1934 in Carey to the late Joseph and Irene (ale hart) Billock. He married Charlotte E. Tucker on October 27, 1956 and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

Surviving are his children; Brenda Billock, Barb Billock , and Brad (Berny) Billock all of Upper Sandusky, 3 step grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, two brothers; Robert Billock and Linus (Wilma) Billock both of Carey.

Preceding him in death are five brothers: John, George, Frank, Isadore, and Mike Billock and four sisters: Mary Shaffer, Margaret Nelson, Lauretta Phillips, and Ruth Billock.

Dean retired from the Ohio Bell Telephone Company after 35 years of service.

A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War Era, he was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 3759 in Carey. He was a member of the Grand Lake Community Chapel in Presque Isle, MI where he resided the past 17 years.

There will be no visitation or service at the request of the deceased.
