MEMPHIS, Texas — Services for Lucille Berry, 78, of Lakeview will be at 2 p.m. today at the Church of Christ in Memphis with Dick Marcear officiating and Tom Anderson assisting.

Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis.

She died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002.

She was born Dec. 16, 1923, in Memphis. She attended schools in Gammage and graduated from Memphis High School and Draughn's Business College. She married Joe Neal Berry on Dec. 30, 1945, in Amarillo.

She was a lifelong resident of Hall County. She was a secretary at Lakeview High School and a bookkeeper for the Lakeview Co-op Gin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Jina Streetman of Austin, Landa Murray of Kress and Joan Cosgrove of Amarillo; two sisters, Elizabeth Hodgson of Norman, Okla., and Eunice Floyd of Memphis; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials to Lakeview Cemetery.
