Alfred Sherman Meeks, 72, of 631 Price Grange Road, Stoneville went to glory on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Morehead Hospital.
A going home celebration will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Tri-City Baptist Church.
Alfred was born in Henry County on August 8, 1945, one of thirteen children born to Sherman Lee Meeks and Myrtle Williams Meeks, both deceased. He was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Chrystal Turney, Cole Pike, Caroline Grace, Sunshine Grace and Noah Turney and countless other family members.
He was predeceased by his son, Sherman Meeks.
The family will receive friends after the service.
