three sisters: Lauren (Richard) Comins, Virginia 'Ginny' (Delmar) Hurning and Ruth (Delmar) Behnke, all of Lena, WI; along with many nieces, nephews, and his dog, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Donald "Sonny", Richard and Collin Kelly Gilligan Sr.; and three sisters:
Leola "Dolly" Jensen [6/21/1938-4/18/1998 in Anchorage, Alaska], Carol Merryman and Germaine Murray.
