He was born on February 26, 1910 in Midvale, Utah to Hans Peter Arnold Berg and Harriet Rosalia Sanders. He is preceded in death by his eternal companion and sweetheart of 66 years, Grace Virginia Parmley Berg. Their wonderful union produced posterity of eight children, 30 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. To each of his posterity, he was beloved as a father, grandfather, and great-grand-father. Cliff was raised in Murray, Utah and graduated from Murray High School where he played basketball and was quarterback of the football team. He loved to travel and his first adventure was taking a cruise to Hawaii where he lived for three months when he was a young man. He traveled extensively throughout his life. He loved the outdoors, gardening, music and was an avid Utah Jazz fan. He had a creative and inventive mind and was a talented artist. He expressed his love of God's creation through his many paintings. He loved animals and will be sorely missed by his constant companions, Zypher & Abercrombie. Above all, he was a kind and loving husband and father. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was very patient and had a great sense of humor. He was the kind of dad you could talk to about anything and he would help make it better.
