Funeral services for Mrs. Helen "Cookie" Vinson Bellar, 71, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Curry's Chapel Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County, TN.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services.

She passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at her residence.

She was born November 26, 1946, in Granville, TN, to the late Garrett Vinson, Sr. and Hatha Mae Burgess Vinson. She was the former owner of Helen's Restaurant in Gainesboro, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Garrett Vinson, Jr., Harold Vinson, Charles Vinson, and Carl Vinson; and 3 Sisters: Milse Vinson (Charlie) Butler, Ann Vinson, and Katherine Vinson.

Survivors include 2 Daughters: Carol Bellar (Terry) Pippin of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Tonya Jean Bellar (Steve) Stafford of Gainesboro, TN; her Children's Father: Gene Bellar of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Christin Widner, Kayla Widner, Casey Stafford, Kendall Pippin, and Candice Stafford; 1 Great Grandchild: Blaine Hamlet; and 1 Brother: Bobby (Betsy) Vinson of Santa Claus, IN. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Duane Gossett will officiate at the services.
