Helen M. Kress,88, formerly of 114 Maple Ave., Littlestown, presently residing at Pompton Plains N.J. died Thursday July 14, at the Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains N.J.
Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Lowell(misprint, It' Louis) and Rose (Buddy) Stavely. She was the widow of George A. Kress Sr. who died in 1975.
She was a graduate of Littlestown High Schol and was Co-owner in George's Restaurant in Littlestown for 32 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary L. Hull, Patricia J. Crouse, both of Littlestown and Delores A. Phillippee of Pompton Plains, N.J. whom Mrs. Kress resided; two sons George A. Kress Jr. and Franklin J. Kress both of Littlestown, 26 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandson, and two sisters, Bernadine Rickrode and Marcella Meade both of Littlestown.
Funeral services will be held Monday meeting at the Littel's Funeral Home, Littlestown at 9:30a.m. ato proceed to St. Aloysius Church where a mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Sterner as Celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
