Lawrence Allison is visiting in Dayton this week and attending the national convention of the Amaigamated Association of Electric and Street Railway Employes of America.

L. W. Allison Claimed At 90
Lawrence W. Allison, 90, of 315 W. 4th St., street commissioner under former Mayor Samuel W. Crawford, died this morning at 2:50 at the Cummings Rest Home after a long illness. He was born in Shepard's Valley, son of the late Charles Allison and Nancy Mercer Allison. He lived here virtually all his life. At one time, he was a partner of the former Allison & Harris Contracting Co., retiring in 1929. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. He leaves two daughters, Miss Alvera Allison and Mrs. Delores Brown, and a son Regis Allison, all of East Liverpool, another son, Donald Allison of Cumberland, Md., and three grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 at the church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home Tuesday.
