Alvera Allison

Miss Alvera L. Allison, 73, of 213 E. 4th St., Mary Patterson Memorial, died Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. in City Hospital, where she had been a patient since Monday. A lifelong resident, Miss Allison was born here Jan. 3, 1905, a daughter of Lawrence Allison and Lena B. McCullough Allison. She was employed in the office of Riverview Florists for 30 years, last working Saturday. Miss Allison was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, its Altar and Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. A. J. (Dolores) Brown of East Liverpool; two brothers, Regis L. Allison of Oceanside, Calif., and Donald L. Allison of Cumberland, Md., and several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Aloysius Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home Friday afternoon and night, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
