Allison Will Attend Meet

Fireman Named Delegate to Labor Federation Convention.

Hunter Allison will represent East Liverpool Trades and Labor Council at the annual convention of the Ohio State Federation of Labor at Dayton, October 11. W. H. Pyles was elected alternate to the state meet. Request that city council file a protest against the proposed increase in fares on the lines of the Steubenville, East Liverpool and Beaver Valley Traction company was voiced by labor council at Wednesday night's meeting. The matter will be laid before city council next Monday night. A report of the recent investigation into the milk situation, conducted by Maurice Langan, of Columbus, secretary of the state fair price board, was submitted by Frank Hull.

Hunter Allison

Hunter Allison, 73, former fireman and street car conductor in East Liverpool, died Friday morning after a brief illness at Fullerton, Calif., where resided. He was employed as a dispatcher at the Rapid Transit Co. in Cleveland until he retired three years ago to move to Fullerton. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eva Beckwith Allison at home; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Garlock of Lockport, N. Y., and Mrs. Mabel Feldman of Fullerton; a son, Edgar Allison of Fullerton ; a brother , Lawrence W. Allison of East Liverpool, and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held Monday at the McCormick Funeral Home in Fullerton with burial there.
