Daughter of Janis and Clementine Beck, both born in Rockland, PA, she married, lived at 247 Seneca St, Oil City, died there April 22 of cancer of the liver, per death certificate 37965, whose informant was Charles Duffee, 247 Seneca St. Buried Apr 25 1912.

The 1850 census lists the surname Birtcel, her parents as John (80227094) and Mary (13165875), living in Rockland Township.
I am not 100% positive this is the same Clementine, born in 1844, living in Rockland Township. Why was her surname Beck instead of Birtcel later? She would have been 6 when her father died, 11 when her mother died. Maybe she was raised by Becks?
BUT, Julia Ann Birtcil Maxwell's obituary lists Mrs. Charles Duffee as one of her daughters. Juliann didn't marry Samuel Maxwell until 1848, and Clementine was born in 1844, so she probably wasn't actually a Maxwell.

Franklin Evening News/News-Herald, Tuesday, Apr 23 1912:
Mrs. C. W. Duffee of Oil City, mother of Eugene Duffee of Franklin, died at noon today at her home.

Oil City Derrick, Wed, Apr 24 1912:
Mrs. Clementine Duffee, wife of Chas. W. Duffee, died at the family home, Seneca Street, at 12:10 pm Tuesday after a long illness from cancer of the liver. She was born in Rockland Township, Venango County, but lived in Oil City for the last 65 years. She was a member of Trinity M. E. Church, a devoted wife and loving mother, and had a wife circle of friends.

Surviving are her husband; five sons and a daughter, B. E. Duffee and Mrs. Charles Long of Franklin, L. L. Duffee of Pittsburgh, Frank Duffee of Boise, ID, Clyde D. and W. W. Duffee of Oil City.

Services will probably be held Thursday afternoon.
