Daughter of Charles W. and Clementine Best Duffee, she married Charles M. Long, lived at 1437 Buffalo St, Franklin, died of myocardial degeneration, uremia, chronic nephrosis, general arteriosclerosis and arthritis of the spine, per death certificate 031809-62, whose informant was her husband. Buried Mar 14 1962.

Mrs. Pearl D. Long, 79, of 1437 Buffalo Street, died at 8:55 pm Sunday at home. She was born April 14, 1882, in Oil City, daughter of Charles W. and Clementine Best Duffee.

Less than a month after her marriage, they moved to Franklin. She was a member of First Methodist Church for many years, and the Women's Society of Christian Service there.

On Sept. 28, 1904, she married Charles M. Long, who survives, with two sons, Harry W. Long Sr. of Beaver, and C. Edgar Long of Erie; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Duffee of Lamartine. Deceased are six brothers, Eugene, Lovell, Weller, Clyde, Brouse, and Leverne Duffee.

Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Burger Funeral Home with Rev. Harold L. Knappenberger Jr., her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
