Mrs. Crissie Hartman, wife of Harry F. Hartman, chief of police of Columbia, died in her home on Cedar street, Columbia, at 7 o'clock this morning of a complication of diseases after an illness of eight months, aged 55 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Beside her husband she is survived by six children: Mrs. Charles Blottenberger and Mrs. Lyle Simons of Columbia; Mrs. Jacob Shellenberger, Marietta; Lillian, Winfield and Daniel, at home; and the following brothers and sisters, Armor and Daniel Moore of Columbia; Mrs. Mary Smith, Kinderhook and Mrs. Ella Sweeney of York.
