Armor N Moore was the son of James A and Sarah Shay Moore. He was married to Edith F Richardson on Dec. 25, 1893. Together they were the parents of 6 children 3 sons and 3 daughters. He operated a confectionery store for 27 years before retiring in 1935. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of which he served as a teacher of the men's bible class. At one time he also served as secretary of the More Light Association, for many years he was active on the Public Ground Association, and was a member of the Artisans, Foresters and the Keystone Fire Company No. 1.
Surviving besides his wife and five children were nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister Mrs. Ella Sweeney of Baltimore, MD.
