Wanda R. Archer

Wanda R. Archer, 52, of Port Orchard, Wash., died Friday in Harrison Memorial hospital there.

She was born Dec. 2, 1910, in Williamstown, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Archer, who survive.

Miss Archer graduated from Marshall College and taught 10 years in Wood county and then taught in Michigan, Montana and Idaho before moving to the South Kitsap school district in Washington. She taught in East Port Orchard, Olalla, Pleasant Valley and South Colbey, Wash.., as a traveling instructor in elementary vocal music.

During World War II, she served in the naval reserve. She was a member of the Port Orchard Methodist Church and the South Kitsap, state and national educational associations.

Surviving are, besides her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Willard H. Mahoney and Mrs. Ernest P. Adkins all of Williamstown, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted in Washington.
