A Christian Science funeral service will be read at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Wainwright Funeral Home for Rollo G. Burt, 75, who died at 12:07 p.m. yesterday at his home, 240 Seventh St., after an illness of several months.
Mr. Burt had been an Elyria resident for 71 years. He was born in Ebenczer, Tenn., on Sept. 28, 1890. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, a member of Elyria Eagles and a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Nina B. Burt; a brother, Roy Burt, in Calif; nieces and nephews. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
