Obituary for Carrol "T" Fogle
Mr. Carrol “T” Fogle, 88, of Neeses, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
Mr. Fogle was born in Neeses, SC, a son of the late John Anthony and Lila Flake Fogle. Mr. Fogle served in the Air Force from 1950 until 1953 and he retired from DuPont after 35 years. He was a school board member of Orangeburg School District 4, serving 27 years and received the Order of the Palmetto for his service to the schools. He was a member of Neeses Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. During his 30 years of retirement, “T” was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family, friends and most of all his great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fogle is survived by his wife, Patsy Fogle, son, Jackie Fogle; daughter, Donna (Bert) Sanford; granddaughter, Kayla (Richard) Moore; great-grandchildren, Carrigan and Rylin Moore and daughter-in-law, Ruth Fogle; brothers, Tony (Margaret) Fogle, Bobby (Frances) Fogle and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Terry Fogle; a sister, Virginia Port; brothers, Carlisle Fogle, Bryan Fogle, Norman Fogle and Henry Fogle.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joey Miller, Jimmy Toole, Lionel Gartman, John Sease, Johnny Fogle, Jonathan Tipton, Lee Hughes, and Kenneth Gleaton. Honorary pallbearers are Deacons and former Deacons of Neeses Baptist Church, the staff and members of the 6:30 AM TRMC Cardiac Rehab Class and Dr. Mark Krzyston.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Neeses Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Elder, Rev. Bob Frederick, Rev. Wilton Gleaton and Rev. John Anthony officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (www.mcalhanyfuneralhome.com) and other times at their home, 6385 Savannah Highway, Neeses, SC 29107.
