Early Life: Erma was born March 5, 1936, in Provo, Utah, to Armeldo and Lylia Jean Johnson Prestwich. She grew up with twelve siblings during the Great Depression. It made her strong and she became the best person in spite of it.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: She married Kay M. Zabrinskie, shortly after he came home from serving in the Korean War. She was a talented seamstress, cook, genealogist, homemaker and mother, with a sweet sense of humor. When she was younger, she worked at Geneva Steel. Later, she loved being an elementary school librarian and helping the children, but most of all, she loved being a mother and grandmother. The gospel of Jesus Christ has always been important to her. She loved indexing 800,000 names for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Erma Fay Prestwich Zabriskie passed away March 8, 2018, at her home in Orem, Utah.
Survived By: Her children: Mike, Doug, Boyd and Karen; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and six siblings: Becky, Jane, Linda, Dean, Darleene and Dora.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Kay; her parents and siblings: Beth, Myron, Myrl, LaRue, Leonard and Stan.
